SPINACH AND FETA PUFF PASTRY
|For 12 puff pastries All levels|
> 1 package of frozen spinach leaves, thawed and dried, chopped
1 | Preheat the oven to 180 C.
2 | Heat oil in a frying pan.
3 | Add the garlic and sauté 15 seconds.
4 | Add the spinach.
5 | Season with salt & pepper. Add Italian spicy herb mixture.
6 | Stir and heat for a few minutes.
7 | Turn off the stove and add the crumbled feta cheese.
8 | Add the egg and the half & half. Stir and mix well.
9 | Roll out the puff pastry on the work surface.
10 | Cut the dough into 12 pieces. Leave them on the parchment paper.
11 | Stuff each small square with about 2 teaspoons of filling.
12 | Close the 4 corners of the dough by gluing them together.
13 | Roll up the two flat ends.
14 | Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until crisp and golden.
› You can serve them with a green salad as a main course.
