BANANA PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL

Ingredients for 1 portion  All levels

Ingredients:

> 4 tbsp dried oats
> ½ banana, cut into pieces
> 1 tbsp peanut butter
> 1 tsp pumpkin spice or cinnamon
> 1 tsp coconut oil
> Almond milk
> Homemade apple sauce or any other fruit
> Raw cacao bits
> Shredded coconut

Directions:

1 | Melt the coconut oil in a small frying pan.

2 | Add the oats and stir to coat them evenly and let fry for 2-3 minutes.

3 | Add the banana pieces, the peanut butter and the spices. Mix well and let cook for a few minutes.

| Add a little bit of almond milk (or any other milk of your choice) and stir.

5. Serve topped with homemade apple sauce or any other fresh fruit of your choice, some cacao bits and shredded coconut (or anything else you have in your pantry like dried fruit, nuts…)

 

I don’t put a lot of milk as I don’t like my oats to be soggy, so the amount you put in is up to you and how you like them.
