Ingredients for the Marinade:

1 | Mix all the ingredients together. 2 | Rub the meat with it and marinate overnight (or at least a couple of hours).. |

Ingredients for the Sauce:
> Vegetable oil |

Direction for the Sauce: | |
1 | Heat the oven to 150 C. 2 | Sauté the meat on all sides in the vegetable oil in a frying pan. 3 | Transfer the meat to a baking pan. 3 | Add the onions, garlic, bbq sauce, apple cider vinegar, beer and thyme. 3 | Cover with aluminum foil and cook for approximately 5-6 hrs in the oven. 3 | The meat will be cooked when it will easily shred with 2 forks. 3 | Shred the meat and serve with the bbq sauce in heated hamburger buns or pita bread and some cole slaw on the side. 3 | Enjoy! 3 | Optional: You can also cook the meat in a slow cooker on high for 5hrs. |
