Swiss Breads

Take a culinary voyage of Switzerland and discover its regional breads. Heddi Nieuwsma, author of Swiss Bread and her blog, Cuisine Helvetica, will teach a cooking class about Swiss holiday breads.
Learn to make threae traditional breads: two from Appenzell and one from Basel. In addition to tasting five different breads in class, the price of this cooking class includes a copy of Heddi’s new book (in German, French or English) and two loaves of bread to take home (retail price of the book is 39 CHF).

- Appetizer: Totché (Jura) & Gâteau du Vully – Salé (Fribourg)
- Pain #1: Pfilenbrot (Appenzell) with butternut squash soup
- Pain #2: Hefegugelhopf (Bâle)
- Pain #3: Cressin (Valais)
