Chef Alexandre Luquet
|
Born in Saint-Étienne, Alexandre Luquet trained at the Les Bruyères hospitality school, between Saint-Chamond and La Chaise-Dieu, before spending fifteen years honing his craft in leading Michelin-starred houses: Pierre Orsi in Lyon, Denis Martin in Vevey, Carlos Crisci in Cossonay, Patrick Guilbaud in Dublin, as well as La Veveyse and L'Auberge de l'Onde as sous-chef.
From 2012 to 2022, he ran and co-owned La Pinte Communale in Aigle with Ana Ronc, earning 15 points at Gault&Millau. In January 2023, the couple took over Le Bocca in Saint-Blaise, succeeding Claude Frôté after his 36 years at the helm of this Neuchâtel institution. It's a legacy Alexandre Luquet approaches with humility: "Bocca is a legacy, a heritage of Swiss gastronomy. It's an honour to have the responsibility of it today."
In June 2026, three years after taking over, he joined the exclusive circle of the Grandes Tables Suisses — recognition crowning an international career now channelled into a precise, personal cuisine.
