Mezze is to Middle Eastern gastronomy what tapas are to Spanish cuisine and antipasti to Italian tradition. From Lebanon to Syria via Turkey and some Greek cities, mezze refers to a set of dishes served in small portions, to share among all the guests present around the table. Hummus, tzatziki, Lebanese tabouli or Greek salad can be enjoyed with your fingers, using a flat bread.

From stuffed grape leaves served with dips, appreciated all over the world, through tabouli or grilled eggplant, mezze allow you to taste all the specialties of the Middle East in one meal. Generous and gourmet, the specialties that make up mezze can also be prepared at home. Maya Joundi will show you the tips and techniques to help you prepare the best of mezze, as well as the secrets of her grandmother's Syrian cooking.
